IELTS Results

IELTS on computer results are typically available within 1-2 days. However, results may take up to 5 days to arrive in some circumstances.

IELTS on Paper test results are available on the 14th day after your test.

How to check your results online

You will be notified by email when your results are ready. Please do not forget to check for the email in your spam folder. Please note, we are not responsible for any errors or delays relating to the release of your web results.

  1. Log in to your British Council account.
  2. Under ‘Tests and Results’, click ‘Completed’.
  3. Click on your test date.
  4. Click the ‘Results’ tab to see your results.

Sending your TRF to a university or other institution

Get 5 Free IELTS Recognizing Organizations

Once you register for the IELTS test, you will be presented with the option to add up to 5 Recognizing Organizations free of charge.

You must include the information of the Recognizing Organization (e.g., university or other institution) after your test registration but before your test date.

Pay $39.99 for Each Extra Recognizing Organization

If you do not add your Recognizing Organization before taking the test OR you wish to add additional recognizing organizations, the cost will be $39.99 (plus taxes) each.

In which case, you must fill out the Additional TRF Form and pay the fees accordingly.

If your TRF gets lost or stolen

You are responsible for ensuring you accurately input your address for delivery. If your TRF gets lost or stolen, call or email our customer service team to check whether it was returned. If it has not been returned, you will need to request a TRF re-print.

Original TRFs that get returned to our New West office may be collected in-person free of charge.

If you require your TRF to delivered again, you may choose to have it:

  • Sent by mail at a cost of $15.00 plus tax.
  • Sent by courier (with tracking number) at a cost of $35.00 plus tax.

If you need your TRF re-printed

If you wish to have your original IELTS Test Report Form re-printed, please complete the TRF Reprint Form

The TRF re-print fee is $29.99 plus tax.

Reprint Test Report Form

If you wish to receive the IELTS TRF as soon as possible, we highly recommend paying for a Courier Service with a Tracking Number, and we will send it to your address as soon as we can.

Please Note: Most TRFs which are sent in British Columbia by courier arrive within 2 business days.

Important

  • You will be mailed your official Test Report Form (TRF) to your postal address.
  • We do not give out IELTS scores over the phone or by email.
  • Our offices are closed for TRF pick-up.
  • Re-print fee and courier fees are non-refundable.
  • We advise all test-takers to check with the Recognizing Organization for entry requirement before sitting for IELTS.
